On behalf of the entire Shelby Youth Ball Organization, welcome to our Website!
SYB is a 100% volunteer organization that is continually trying to improve on past achievements. We rely on parent-volunteer committees for every aspect of our organization, from coaching to uniforms, concessions to the maintenance of this website. SYB has been in existence for over 40 years! The SYB organization is operating in cooperation with, and under the control of the Shelby Town Board.
Shelby Youth Ball is proudly sponsored by over 40 local business partners.
SYB has, as the purpose for its existence, the following objectives:
-
To provide summer recreational activity for area youth, ages 7 through 14, under adult guidance
- To provide exposure to area youth in the form of discipline and sportsmanship
- To provide instruction in baseball and softball skills
- To help prepare youth for future competitive situations.

Please check our NEWS PAGE frequently for current camps, and clinics promoted by SYB as well as current events changes and cancellations.
